I'm using Internet Explorer 8 and I've noticed that a leading space in inserted into the First Name field in the RSEvents sign up form whenever I use the mouse to click into that field. However, if I tab repeatedly until focus is establisned on that field then a space is NOT inserted. Two questions, 1) does anyone know how to prevent this leading space from being inserted. and 2) is there a way to set focus on the First Name field when the form is displayed.

The leading space is causing havoc when the subscriber list is exported and an attempt is made to sort on last name.

Thanks for any insight you can provide.
Tom

Hello,

1. Are you using the default subscriber form, or are you using it in combination with RSForm!Pro ?

2. Some adjustments, can be done... but it will require some source code modifications. I do not generally recommend on performing source code modifications, since these will be lost upon performing an update.

Hi

I'm using the default form. I do not use RSFormPro. Also, just to correct my previous post, when the mouse is used to position into any of the input fields (first name, last name, or email address) the space is inserted.

Thanks

Hello,

A link to the event would really help to determine what is going on... Can you post it here ?
