Does this handle automatic monthly recurring subscriptions?

I was setting up AEC (a bit complicated program) which would allow me to use Paypal or Authorize Net for my monthly automated subscriptions. Will this program work that way? I am talking about automated where the member doesn't have to approve the charge each month. Also, can the person subscribe to different plans and then have the site show only those pages based on the subscription plan they are on?
