Yes No Here is an example site I made with such a form with 2 fields:
http://www.getcarports.com/building-types/carports.html

They get submissions all the time that have name... or phone... in the submission rather than user generated values and I have no easy way to prevent that. I need a validation rule that says it CANNOT be the default values (name...,phone...).

Yes No So when will there be a simple validation rule that says: this.value==this.defaultValue So we can make fields mandatory, that have a default value, without them just submitting the default value. Pretty simple... pretty useful.Quote

Yes No Hello, Something similar has already been included in the latest version of RSform!Pro (revision 28) but has only been applied to the password field type.... but i have to ask... what would be the point of having a field that you can't add any other value then the one already filled in ?Quote

Yes No Perhaps I was unclear...
I have form fields with default values set rather than labels such as: [name...][phone...]etc. The problem is I want those fields to be required fields, but I keep getting forms with default values rather than real entries. It would be nice to have a validation rule that the field could be ANYTHING except for the default value that is set for that field. That way they would still have to enter a name and a phone number.

Yes No Oh, i see now... This can still be done in RSform!Pro with a little javascript, placed on the Additional Attributes area of the field in question. An example is available here: http://www.rsjoomla.com/customer-support/documentations/34-custom-scripting/378-label-as-default-value.htmlQuote
