About RSJoomla!

History

RSJoomla! is a young software company, founded in May 2007 by Alexandru Lamba as a small off-work project. Being a Joomla! enthusiast, Alex, along with his website, rsjoomla.com quickly became known for his Joomla! form component, RSform!. At that time, other projects started, such as RSfiles! and RSads!. Soon, the small off-work project that Alex started became a full fledged business, with customers raising support questions and customization. Alex started to look for help.

After some personal debate, he decided the next natural step: evolving from a small business to a big company, focused on Joomla!. In the same year, during Summer, two new colleagues joined RSJoomla!: Alexandru Plapana, Senior Support and Octavian Cinciu, Senior Programmer. Later, at the beginning of Autumn, Mihaela Rosoga joined, as a Web Marketing Executive. We celebrated the end of 2008 with a new colleague, Bogdan Nicolae, filling in for a Programmer's job.

We are a young and dynamic team. Our goal is to create valuable resources for the Joomla! community. Our philosophy is simple RS = Really Simple.

The RSJoomla! Team

Alexandru Lamba
CEO
The oldest and most knowledgeable member of the team. He is focused on management, extensions development and support. He is constantly struggling to develop new and rich projects that benefit the Joomla! community. He is a passionate traveler and plays tennis after work.

Octavian Cinciu
Senior programmer
His main topic is web programming using various technologies (XHTML, Ajax, PHP, MySQL). He is also concerned with security and code optimizations. Also, on his spare office time, he proved to be a skilled designer. After work, his greatest hobbies are e-commerce and luxury cars.

Alexandru Plapana
Senior Support
Support is his specialty. Besides providing quality support to customers, he also tries constantly to improve support by writing Joomla! tutorials, how-to documents, and by bridging the gap between customers needs and the development team. Off work he likes cars and airplanes, his father being a former aviation commander.

Bogdan Catana
Junior Support
His main concern is to keep customers happy. He listens to rock music and is an expert in strategy games.

Mihaela Rosoga
Web Marketing Executive
The whole image of the company is handled by Mihaela, her advanced skills in SEO and web page optimizations making her the perfect candidate for the job. In her spare time she likes camping in the mountains.

Bogdan Nicolae
Programmer
His main concern is developing fresh new Joomla! components under the RSJoomla! brand. He's very fond of electronic gadgets and computer technology.
